It was the beautiful views of lush valley from the kitchen and living space that sold the couple on this home back in 2013, and ultimately led to their decision to invest and stay in a location they love. Their renovations started with the kitchen, improving its functionality, upgrading their appliance suite and achieving clean lines in the design.

Cabinetry
Farquhar’s Premium White cabinetry with our Kiev 20 border profile blends seamlessly into the home’s interior of light grey walls, crisp white raked ceilings and polished timber floors.
Natural Stone
The benchtops and splashback make a statement in Sensa Sant Angelo – an Indian granite with a light background, bold grey veins and warm tones – a choice inspired after the couple saw it on display in the Farquhar showroom and instantly fell in love.
Mud Room
In bold contrast to the kitchen, the mud room cabinetry features Farquhar’s Form Flow in Black, a textured finish that gives the appearance of painted wood. The mixed profiles add interest, highlighted by strip lighting that captures the detail and illuminates the moody space.
The space is as practical as it is aesthetic, featuring an appliance cupboard, integration, island storage, and the floating shelf that was a must for Kate to display her plants, incorporated into the design using the same natural stone. ‘I could tell our designer just understood me and got my vibe,’ explains Kate; ‘I loved that process, it was really fun’.
