Cabinetry Detailing
The pearlescent finish of the cabinets in ghostgum satin swathes the space with the feel of luxury whilst the bold, black metal accents add a modern edge to the design.
Luxe Lighting
The glamour aesthetic is drawn from the back lit glass door cabinets and shimmering silver teardrop pendants over the island. Feature strip lighting provides a soft glowing backdrop to the space, further enhancing the warm atmosphere felt throughout the home.
Feature Island
The large feature island is key to the overall design. As a family, and keen entertainers, the island needed to be multifunctional. Parts of the island are home to meal preparation, others to the children’s homework, and as a buffet when entertaining. ‘I love the large island’ explains the owner, ‘it is functional for everyday use, and perfect for entertaining’.
Storage & Function
Double integrated fridge, freezer, and dishwashers are cleverly hidden away from sight, yet easily accessible for use. Ample bench space and storage fill three walls and the island.
Flowing Elements
Throughout the home, rooms alternate between black and brushed brass metal highlights, and varying stone benchtop fabrication heights. It generates a cohesive and warm atmosphere, while still giving an individual delight in every space.
